XC Bragg Creek Club Message

Our club is growing rapidly and you may notice a few changes over the course of the year.  Two of our club organizers, Troy (head mountain bike coach) & Amy (program director), are taking on different roles within XC Bragg Creek as their work schedules have become more demanding.  Both Troy & Amy have dedicated numerous hours of volunteer work within XCBC to help create this wonderful club and family.  Thanks is never enough when it comes to countless hours of behind the scenes work.  Luckily, they will both remain a part of the XCBC family in ways that work with their newly chosen path.  We will miss their expertise dearly and send wishes for continued business success!

That being said, we will be on the lookout for someone committed to take on the role of Head Mountain Bike Coach for the spring 2016 season.  Please let us know if you are interested in this rewarding opportunity.

Our Treasurer & Book Keeper, Deb, will be moving on after April 2016.  Deb has also put in numerous volunteer hours – we will miss her dearly when the time comes (not yet Deb)!  XCBC will be looking to fill the treasury position on or before April/16.  Required is a knowledge of QuickBooks and a desire to play with numbers.

I will also introduce myself as the new program director for the ski season, Nicole.   I have been a part of the x-country ski program for many years and will continue to do so while I work within the program director position.

We also want to put out a big thanks to Mike & Amy of 3 Peaks Media for all the time they have spent building the fantastic new XCBC website! www.xcbraggcreek.ca All relevant information will be posted on this website, so please go to it for all your inquiries.

Don’t forget about our club FB Page for club members: https://www.facebook.com/groups/xcbraggcreek/

**If anyone has club clothing that they have outgrown or are no longer using and wish to donate clothing back to the club, we would love to find good homes for them.  Please contact the program director: programdirector@xcbraggcreek.ca

***As XCBC has grown quickly, we depend on your volunteer support to continue running this program. A list of many fun and useful volunteer roles have been listed on zone 4 under the registration to select from. A deposit cheque of $150/child will be collected to complete your registration. This cheque will be returned uncashed once a minimum of 5hrs/child has been enjoyed.

Mail Chimp:

We are switching over to mail chimp for email communications this year.  Please check your inboxes and spam folders for any messages from XCBC through mail chimp.  And please be patient while we make these important changes.
